Kristen’s passion for all things with loud engines started early, wrenching on classic '70s Chevy Novas alongside her father, and watching NASCAR and WRC on the SPEED channel (RIP). That hands-on foundation eventually merged with her love for storytelling and photography, launching her career in automotive journalism in 2018.

She's intimately familiar with the motorsports industry, having spent a few years at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, starting as an intern and graduating to a full-time marketing position. Along the way, Kristen has interviewed motorsport icons and INDYCAR champions—including Jimmie Johnson, Mario Andretti, Scott Dixon, Josef Newgarden and Alex Palou—with her photography being featured in outlets such as Autoweek, Vintage Motorsport, and TODAY.

Since 2023, she has also carved out a sharp niche in vehicle reviews, evaluating everything from EVs and hybrids to luxury sports cars through a practical lens—often road-testing family-friendliness with her two toddler daughters in tow for Autoblog and A Girls Guide to Cars.
