About the Author

Holly Dufek holds a Master’s Degree in Education and has spent nearly 15 years writing, editing and working with educational curriculum for publishers such as Holt McDougal, National Geographic Education and Riverside Publishing.

Committed to children’s education, Holly hopes the Casey & Friends book series will help kids make the connection with the farm equipment they see in the country side and the food on their table. Growing up in an agricultural community, with farming grandparents, Holly writes on a subject she is passionate about and to educate a generation of children who may not have the opportunity to learn about farming first hand.

Holly has travelled to public schools and libraries for Casey & Friends storytime readings and summer program events. Each presentation was tailored to the program’s theme and audience, and included a book reading, activity or lesson, and fun handouts.
